The work refers to the underground station Weberwiese. The series of pictures shows the above-ground area, Karl-Marx-Allee, as it is occupied by oversized plants. The pictures show the result of a past growth process in which nature has recaptured urban space. The collages shows a vision of the future that has left all human interaction behind. The images create an irritation that questions the above-mentioned situation above ground and makes us aware of the spatial position in which we find ourselves. There is a shift in the perception of space and time, which makes an apparently imperceptible threshold clear, which we cross when we move into the underground.
