In my artistic practise I explore the monumental character of landscape and architecture. Specifically, I examine the change of perspective from a physically recognisable reality to the idea of a model world. By using collage, object or installation I take structures of landscape and architectural situations and transform them in a model space. Their scale is based on the relationship between piece, space and contemplator. In this way the works make it possible to introduce a physical manifestation of these structures and determine its individual scale. The resulting objects become models, inhabitable as living environment determined by autonomous laws. The viewer moves in a utopian model that confronts his or her own behavior with a power-exerting spatial structure.
